Effective date: 14 October 2026. Applies to FIN Accounting OS by Sthwalo Holdings (Pty) Ltd.
FIN provides software for financial management, accounting workflows, reports, VAT, assets, budgets and payroll. Every plan includes every feature; plans differ in their monthly allowance of records posted to your books (and, on the Free plan, printed reports), and in how many companies and users they cover. The Free plan allows 50 posted records and printed reports a month. When the month's allowance is used up, nothing more can be posted or printed until you add a pack, upgrade, or the next month begins — everything stays readable on screen and exportable as a spreadsheet or CSV. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter and for reviewing outputs before relying on them.
You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential and notify us of suspected unauthorised access. We may suspend access to protect users, data, payment systems or the platform.
Paid plans are priced in South African Rand. You can pay by card in the app: card payments are processed by Paystack on the Paystack checkout page, and your card details are never sent to or stored by FIN. We may also arrange payment by electronic funds transfer or invoice. Your plan is activated once Paystack confirms the payment, which is normally immediate. We do not currently charge your card automatically when a paid period ends, so your access runs for the period you have paid for unless you choose to pay for a further period. Cancellations, downgrades, refunds and what happens to your access are set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
FIN is software, not professional accounting, tax, payroll, legal or audit advice. You should consult a qualified professional where decisions require expert judgement or regulatory interpretation.
You may not use FIN unlawfully, attack the platform, upload malicious content, attempt unauthorised access, misuse payment systems or process information where you lack authority to do so.
To the extent allowed by South African law, FIN is provided without guarantees that every calculation, report or integration will be error-free. Our liability is limited to direct losses caused by proven fault and excludes indirect, consequential or loss-of-profit claims where legally permitted.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
This page is intended to support POPIA, PAIA, consumer and payment transparency requirements for the app. It should be reviewed by a South African legal practitioner before being treated as final legal advice.
